Functional Mobility For Athletes

You don’t have to look far within professional sports to see functional mobility and yoga’s widespread popularity. Enhance your current athletic performance and prevent future injury by adding yoga-based functional mobility to your or your team's training plan.


My goal is to help you reach your individual/team goals, improve your performance, prevent unnecessary injuries, prolong your career, help you to recover faster after workouts, open up tight areas that may be hindering your performance, improve range of motion while strengthening and stretching both mind and body.

*Functional Mobility programs are designed for both in-season and off-season training focusing on regulating the nervous system and recovery training.*

Individual and team/small group sessions available

  • Incorporate dynamic stretching to build power, strength, flexibility, and increase velocity

  • Improve shoulder health and range of motion by stretching and strengthening shoulder muscles 

  • Activate core muscles to support and stabilize the body

  • Build balance to strengthen nerve transmissions from the body to the brain which decreases muscular tension

  • Increase hip flexion, hip adduction, and spinal flexion

Thai Yoga/Myofascial Release

Assisted stretching techniques, rhythmic compressions, gentle twisting, and rocking are used to create a unique blend of relaxation and therapeutic benefits such as muscular tension and blockage release, increased body flexibility, and improved posture. Myofascial bodywork techniques will be applied to address specific pain syndromes as needed. 

Coach the Coach Workshop

Hey Coach! This workshop was created with you in mind.

Partnering with Complete Game/Platinum Sports I am thrilled to offer two unique yoga-based functional movement classes.

Strength and Stability - Tuesdays 10am

Using yoga-based poses linked to the breath, dynamic strengthening techniques, and resistance training to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, mindfulness and determination, resulting in better performance, a cleared mind and an overall transformation. 

 

Functional Mobility/Restorative Yoga - Thursdays 10am
Enjoy an active recovery day with this all-level, floor-based class. We will use yoga-based poses, isometric and dynamic stretching techniques, joint articulation, and fascial release to restore the muscles and connective tissues.
